New stations of Minsk Metro “Grushevka”, “Petrovshchina” and “Mihaylovo” have opened their doors for passengers on November 7, 2012.
The names of villages once located here lie at the root of the stations’ names. Natural theme unites all three new stations.
The symbol of "Grushevka" station is a monumental composition according to its name – a pear, located between the entrance hall and the platform.
Station "Mihaylovo" is styled as a cold winter sunset. The columns are made in light beige colors, the ceiling of ticket hall is in dark blue colors. There is also a scene resembling a flock of flying birds.
According to the artists’ idea a winter starry night is represented at "Petrovshchina" station. About 400 LED lights that create a sense of starry sky are in the ceiling of "Petrovshchina".
Traction substations of three new stations in Minsk Metro are equipped with modern equipment jointly manufactured by CJSC "Pluton" and JV "Plutonenergoprom, Ltd.".
Complete sets of equipment were supplied "turnkey", including installation, commissioning, start-up.
Commissioning of equipment for the stations “Kuntsevshchina", "Kamennaya gorka" and "Pushkinskaya" took place in 2005.
In 2007 traction substations of stations "Borisovskiy trakt", "Uruchje" and a part adjoining station "Vostok" were equipped with the modern equipment of our production.
In 2011 we have supplied equipment for traction substation of station "Institute Kultury".
Thus, during the last years equipment provides uninterrupted and quality power supply of Minsk Metro. The equipment received a rather positive evaluation of Metro operating personnel according to the results of its operation.
CJSC "Pluton" congratulates Minsk Metro and Minsk residents with a long-awaited opening of stations "Grushevka", "Petrovshchina" and "Mihaylovo"!
We wish further development to Minsk Metro!
