Opening ceremony of the 30th Kharkov metro station "Pobeda" took place on August 19.
Design of “Pobeda” station was developed by "Kharkovmetroproekt" Design Institute and its construction began in 1992 together with construction of "Botanicheskiy Sad", "23 Augusta" and "Alekseyevskaya" station. Thereafter, the works were stopped several times due to lack of funding. Opening of the station was a great joy for three hundred thousand inhabitants of Kharkov microdistrict. According to preliminary calculations not less than 50 thousand passengers will daily use the new station. This is the first station of Kharkov metro, where an elevator for people with disabilities is installed.
Switching devices, applied in the equipment, have high electrical and operational characteristics providing their 30-year service life, increased resource of emergency trippings, reduced necessity in periodic maintenance, which reaches up to 1 time per 10 years. This ensures continuous operation of equipment 24 hours a day, year round. These characteristics significantly exceed similar characteristics of equipment on old design traction substations.
The substation is equipped with modern automation and remote control means providing control, monitoring and protection of substation equipment. Modern SCADA cabinet SHTM is equipped with redundant controllers that support data transfer protocol in accordance with international IEC standards.
The project was "turnkey" implemented by the Company specialists, including full range of works: installation, commissioning, equipment putting into operation.
