Operating current cabinet SHOT1M

Operating current cabinet (hereinafter SHOT1M) on the basis of high-frequency voltage converter applied as charging and rectifying unit, is provided for AC conversion into regulated DC for charging of accumulator batteries and power supply of consumers with DC voltage both at buffer connection with accumulator battery and directly.

Charging and rectifying unit is implemented on the basis of double conversion with DC link: alternating voltage rectification, direct voltage conversion. Device is based on pulse direct voltage converter with modulation frequency 18 kHz and higher, with transformer galvanic isolation.

SHOT1M provides:

accumulator battery IU, U, IUI charging methods according to DIN41773;
output voltage pulsation coefficient is max. 1 % upon operation on active load, rated output current and rated output voltage;
parallel operation with similar converters with gross load;
dynamic and thermal resistance to internal and external short circuits;
100 % parallel reservation due to two-module implementation.

A number of protections is provided for the unit disconnection upon appearance of emergency situations both in load and in converter:

internal and external short circuits protection;
protection against short circuit in transformer;
converter overload protection;
maximum rated output voltage protection;
overheating of power units;
wrong accumulator battery connection;
supply voltage slump or failure protection, as well as unit autoreclosing upon network recovery;
a number of protections for control system separate elements condition monitoring.

Microprocessor control system provides:

setting of necessary operation modes and parameters with control terminal buttons, switches and buttons on cabinet door with monitoring of input values on graphic LCD display;
processing of input analogue, discrete signals and forming of converter power keys control pulses, as well as forming of a number of hardwire signals for Customer protection and indication circuits;
automatic on-load voltage supply upon start-up, operation and stop of the unit according to the set parameters;
interfaces for connection to upper level system: RS-485 (Modbus RTU), CAN;
service operation modes for the unit systems adjustment, repair and monitoring.

All control system tasks are performed by means of software and hardware.

Output voltage setting can be adjusted in the range of 0,5 to 1,35 of rated output voltage.

Load current setting can be adjusted in the range of 0,05 to 1,1 of rated output current.
