VIII UARail & Partners international railway conference "Infrastructure and rolling stock" (EuroTrain) was held in Odessa on June 04-09, 2018. PLUTON representatives participated in the conference.
The aim of UARail & Partners conference is searching for offers and constructive exchanging of ideas on the most topical issues of infrastructure facilities and rolling stock development and modernization, effective and active interaction and cooperation among enterprises carrying out construction, modernization and repairs of railway infrastructure facilities, and rolling stock manufacturers with an eye toward achieving Ukrainian railways operation stability and reliability in whole.
There were altogether 72 enterprises from more than 15 countries of the world that took part in the VIII conference. Representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia, GE Transportation company, PJSC Zaporizhstal, subsidiary enterprise Siemens Ukraine, PJSC Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works, JSC CZ Loko (The Czech Republic), PrJSC Severodonetsk Research and Production Association Impulse, State Enterprise Dnepr Electric Locomotives Building Plant (SE DEVZ), PJSC Haivoronsky Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant and other companies participated in the conference. The participants were provided with 33 reports.
Within the framework of the conference PLUTON representatives got the opportunity to find out railway industry needs and problems, topical issues concerning railways infrastructure facilities and rolling stock modernization, repairs and technical maintenance, as well as to introduce modern solutions on construction, modernization and technological re-equipment of railway transport infrastructure facilities.
PLUTON provided participants of the conference with a solution for railways power supply quality and reliability improvement — modular traction substation series MKTP. This solution allows to develop a stand-alone facility for the first category consumers power supply suitable for flexible configuration depending on design features. Modular substation has a high shop-assembled level and this allows to minimize the scope of installation works on site, to exclude capital construction costs, as well to commission substation of any complexity within the minimum period.
