Input unit (IU)

Input unit (IU) is provided for public electric transport traction substations auxiliary power supply circuits input and substation auxiliaries active power accounting.

IU is assembled in one-sided maintenance metal cabinet, providing IP 54 protection level in accordance with IEC 60529 standard requirements. IU is equipped with modern four-zone power accounting meters.

Consumed power meters can be both with transformer activation and direct-flow. Upon transformer activation of meters, current transformers are placed in separate section inside IU for sealing.

Protection and automatics equipment is installed in IU on mounting panel.
