A new tram route to Sykhiv was opened in Lviv
The new tram line was built in the city for the first time within the last 30 years. It has connected the largest residential area Sykhiv, which is home to about 150,000 residents of Lviv, with the city center. Total length of the new tram line is 11.5 km. 
As noted by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy — "Tram to Sykhiv" is one of the largest infrastructural projects implemented in Ukraine since independence times. Capacity of the new line is up to 8 thousand passengers per hour. It is expected that 48 thousand Lviv residents will use the tram daily.

Specialists of the company implemented "turnkey" project, including full range of works: installation, commissioning and start-up of the substation.
Reliable power supply is provided with a modern system of traction equipment, which is automatically controlled by SCADA system. All systems control voltage supply is provided by auxiliaries system. Modular substation is equipped with lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, heating, and is equipped with a fire alarm system.
All substation equipment conforms to international standards, ensures reliability of power supply, safe operation and easy maintenance. Distinctive feature of equipment produced by PLUTON is a build in a modern microprocessor control system providing monitoring of parameters, diagnostics, protection, logging of all transient processes, analysis and implementation of control algorithms.
Modular substation is equipped with a modern integrated SCADA system using the main (FOCL) and backup (GSM) communication channels. SCADA system allows operator to make the necessary switching of substation equipment and constantly monitor its operation remotely from operator control center. Thus, the modular substation does not require constant presence of personnel, and its maintenance is limited only by periodic technical inspections.
